As for instance that I can’t convert my music collection that I’ve got stored in iTunes to ringtones… why?
Sure when I buy the stuff from the iTunes store there is no problem according to iTunes… but why would I want to buy something I already own?
Ringtone bullshit from Apple
Apple please explain why because there is no logic to be found in this.
Oh and for the people that are going to say “but there is a workaround” I know there is… but its just plain stupid that I have to use it while Apple could have made it so much easier…
And buying a ringtone isn’t the solution Apple its just making more profit… and I’m not going to do that because I already bought the damn song.
Here is the link to the workaround…
Oh and Apple write this down as a feature request please it would be great NOT to having to do the hassle.
Thanks in advance (although I doubt I’ll see the feature anytime soon).
edit:
I’ve tested the workaround/hack in iTunes 9 and it still seems to work so get happy with your own tunes as ringtone.
It seems that as soon as you post a blog message about Hey it! (and let your blog twitter it to the rest of the world that you did) those guys will instantly start following you at twitter…
Atleast that is what they did with me…
So… an update… oh yeah right almost forgot they made some kind of youtube movie… I guess they are instructions on how to spread the word or how to look like a bunch of wannabee 12 year old bank robbers…
Anyhow I thought I’d share it with you… make up your own mind about it and get creative in bashing your IT department with the message that you really want an other browser or at least an upgrade to IE8.
Ok I’ll admit it seems like I’m doing some twitter shit right now with my blog with posting all these little blog posts.
But as you can clearly see this message is over 140 chars so there is no way I could stuff it in a twitter message.
IE6 must die (IE6 == Microsoft Internet Explorer 6) if you didn’t know that yet… now you do.
And there are some people who found this cause enough to start a campaign to help your local IT department to feel supported (or hated if they refuse too upgrade).
Just that you know…
I mirrored the .pdf files here if you want to get them all together just go for the .zip
It’s been years sinds I’ve been too Lowlands but it never skips my mind every year again the festival is being held.
But this year I stumbled upon a nice mix(320kb/s version click here for 192kb/s version) from some dude with a weblog.
Its in dutch so if you can’t read it… well just don’t and listen to the music that’s why I’m posting about it not because the text is dutch…
